Steve Martindale

First career step as Apprentice Technician. Progressed into Management in his early 20’s, becoming Area Manager with Renault UK. After joining Honda in 2004, Steve occupied roles in Regional Car Sales, National Aftersales, National Car Sales and Company Vehicle Operations before moving in 2007 to the role of General Manager Honda (UK) Motorcycles.

Honda has been UK market leader for motorcycles for more than a decade and Steve is proud to have led the team that has developed initiatives that provide the leading spirit for dealers and customers for today and the future. Steve was a member of the Senior Manager Group in Honda from 2004 until his retirement in 2013. He has also been a main board director of the MCIA (Motorcycle Industry Association) and has been an Advisor for Valvoline, which is part of the Ashland Group. He was appointed to the board of the IMI (Institute of the Motor Industry) in October 2010 and is focusing on helping the IMI to more closely integrate the world of motorcycles.
