Policy Manager

We are looking to recruit a Policy Manager to work collaboratively across the business to create and maintain a clear policy strategy, aligned to government ambitions and sector transition.

The Policy Manager will be instrumental in implementing IMI policy strategy, in line with research and influencing activities. They will gather and present policy related insight from the three core sectors the IMI operate in: professional body, automotive and education, to support the choices on where the IMI direct any lobbying activities, whilst providing insight to shape future products and services.

The Policy Manager will also liaise closely with trade press, communications and public relations functions, keeping the key messages in front of the IMI community, including web and social media activities, to place the IMI as the source of knowledge when it comes to the future of specialist skills in the automotive sector.
