More of your questions answered

Steve Nash

Our first ‘Ask the IMI’ webinar last week reinforced the value of communicating directly with you during these challenging times. These digital events offer huge benefits and that’s why we’re expanding them over the coming weeks.

Every week you’ll be able to ask the questions that you need answers to.

And it won’t just be the IMI in the hot seat, we’ll also bring in experts from across the industry to make sure we can give you best possible information and advice. There’s a lot to cover but over the course of the month we’ll look at as much as possible, including:

Wednesday 6th May: Learning in the lockdown

Innovative ways to maintain development and training. This one will be hosted by Mark Armitage, our head of membership products and services.

Tuesday 12th May: Your business survival guide

A webinar for independent garages, bodyshops and MOT centres. I’ll be hosting this with ‘The Garage Inspector’ Andy Savva.

As with the first webinar, you’ll be able to submit your questions before and during the event, and even if we can’t provide answers during the event we’ll do our best to follow up afterwards. The more you ask, the more we can answer.

To register for the first two webinars in the series head to IM Webinars and we’ll be adding details for the other events in due course, so keep an eye on our social media channels.

The end of this week is a moment of reflection and celebration as we mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day. Our armed forces continue to do an incredible job, and during the COVID-19 crisis military personnel are at the forefront of helping the nation overcome the current challenges.

So throughout the week we’ll be highlighting some of the people within our industry who have made the leap from careers in the armed forces; the experiences they’ve had, the challenges they’ve faced and the advice they’d give to others.

As always if you need anything we’re here to help so please contact us on +44 (0)1992 519025, or send emails to hello@theimi.org.uk.
