Light Vehicle & Heavy Vehicle End Point Assessor

Available positions: 3 Light Vehicle Assessors, 2 Heavy Vehicle Assessors

As part of the IMI service as an End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO), we are required to supply independent, specialist assessors who are responsible for determining the final grade of an apprentice at the end of their apprenticeship.

As a result of continued growth and requirement to facilitate End Point Assessment (EPA) activities, the IMI are now looking to recruit additional Light Vehicle and Heavy Vehicle assessors to take on this independent role for specific manufacturer EPA events.  These roles will predominately be manufacturer partner specific and take place at various locations throughout England.

The role

These roles will initially be on a fixed term basis of 12 months.  As part of the Membership Products and Services team, you will ensure that End Point Assessments are delivered to the required quality levels, as detailed by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IFATE) and appointed External Quality Assurer, relevant to the Light Vehicle & Heavy Vehicle Apprenticeship Standard, ensuring all associated compliance is maintained at all centres.

You will also work closely with our internal Marketing Team to ensure IMI End Point Assessment Services are communicated to the sector and delivery partners, supporting the IMI being the first choice End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) provider for the motor industry.

The role attracts the following salary & benefits: £31,000 salary, 8% employer contribution to pension, 3 x salary Death in Service cover, 25 days annual leave per annum plus bank holidays.  In addition, after a satisfactory 6 months’ probation, you can also access free WPA private healthcare for individual and spouse/partner (children can be added with premium cost deducted from salary monthly) – taxable benefit, free Medicash health cash back scheme – taxable benefit.
