Case study: Basingstoke College of Technology (BCoT)
BCoT’s mission is for all their learners to progress with the skills that employers need. The College are a regional provider of specialised technical skills with a reach that extends beyond the borders of the borough of Basingstoke and Deane. BCoT works closely with Enterprise M3 LEP and with neighbouring boroughs to deliver skills to people and businesses in these areas.

Driving automotive forwards
As the professional body for the automotive sector, the IMI represents over 110,000 members, championing the industry and addressing the growing skills gap.
We’re focused on attracting and retaining talent by understanding the challenges employers face in recruiting ‘work-ready’ learners from Further Education and apprenticeships. We’re also exploring employer views on the Apprenticeship Levy to identify areas for improvement.
That’s where you come in. We’re running a survey to gather insights from employers, educators, and industry professionals to improve training, education, and skills development. Your input will highlight essential skills, show what works, and influence policy to better prepare learners and apprentices for the future.
