What you’ll do
- Deliver regional business development plans aligned to IMI’s commercial strategy.
- Identify, develop and convert new opportunities across your assigned regions and sectors.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with employers, partners and key stakeholders.
- Promote IMI’s full portfolio at regional meetings, sector forums and industry events.
- Negotiate and secure new business.
- Support Professional Services activity in-region and ensure effective internal handover post-sale.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and activity reporting using agreed tools.
- Act as a regional ambassador for IMI, contributing to cross-business projects and wider engagement.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in consultative selling and business development, with strong commercial acumen and a track record of winning new business.
- Excellent relationship-building, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Confident presenter, comfortable engaging both small groups and larger audiences.
- Understanding of the education, professional body and/or automotive retail sectors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and report writing.
- Comfortable with data analysis, reporting and maintaining accurate sales pipeline/forecast information.
- Strong IT literacy, including Microsoft systems.
Desirable
- Experience of awarding or professional body operations.
