Welcome to your latest centre updates. 

Here you'll find updates concerning a recently imposed deadline for claiming certifications for apprenticeship frameworks. A reminder for all IMI Skills Competition nominees to complete the entry quiz, as well as a handy guide on accessing encrypted emails from the IMI. Apprenticeship framework certificates

The DfE will stop funding for apprenticeship framework completion (England only) and certification on Monday 31 March 2025. Apprentices on frameworks will not be able to receive a certificate after this date, including if they have been on a break in learning. Providers must withdraw all learners (including those on a break in learning) by R11 return, at the very latest certificates must be claimed by 31 March 2025.

Amendment to the Customer Service Specialist Level 3 Apprenticeship ST0071 End Point Assessment Plan

ST0071 End Point Assessment Plan V1.2

We have been informed by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE) that the Customer Service Specialist ST0071 (V1.1) Assessment Plan has been amended. V1.2 of the assessment plan was published on 9th December 2024.

This change affects learners commencing their apprenticeship from 9th December 2024 onwards. Existing learners currently on-programme will continue on V1.1.

The updated V1.2 assessment plan is now open to registrations. 

Centres requiring V1.2 documentation should contact the EPA team.

How to open encrypted emails from the IMI

We are currently transitioning from Egress to Microsoft Outlook encryption. You may have already started receiving encrypted emails from us using this method.

Starting April 1, 2025, all encrypted emails from IMI will be sent via Microsoft Outlook. If you already use Microsoft Outlook, no extra steps are needed. For details on how to access encrypted emails from IMI if you do not use Microsoft Outlook, watch the short video or read this guidance document.

 

Take the IMI Skills Competition quiz

We've had hundreds of nominations for the IMI Skills Competition. Remember that those nominated need to complete the quiz in order to be eligible to compete. Avoid disappointment and remind your students to complete the quiz as soon as possible. They well have received a link via email if they accepted the T&Cs. 

The deadline to complete the quiz is April 4th.

Another successful IMI Annual Dinner

It was great to see so many of you at this year's IMI Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony.  On the 12th of March, we hosted our annual awards at the London Intercontinental Hotel to celebrate some of the best, most dedicated automotive talent. Be sure to remind yourself of this year's winners.
