Congratulations to our Apprentice of the Year, Becky Pearce from Dick Lovett Bristol BMW
Becky joined BMW Bristol as an Apprentice Vehicle Technician in 2019 and quickly established herself as a standout talent. Her ingenuity was evident from day one, demonstrating problem-solving skills that impressed her managers. Her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile have made her a role model for younger apprentices. Passionate about the motor industry, she actively supports the Dick Lovett recruitment team, attending career events and promoting the apprenticeship programme.
Despite personal challenges, including severe eczema, Becky remained dedicated to her work and studies. She also overcame the challenges of working in a male-dominated industry by proving her abilities through exceptional work. A key asset to BMW Bristol, Becky contributes innovative ideas to improve the workshop and mentors new apprentices.
Her accomplishments include passing her EPA with distinction and winning the BMW Vehicle Technician Apprentice of the Year 2024. She was invited to work with West Surrey Racing in the British Touring Car Championship, showcasing her skills in a high-pressure environment. Now a fully qualified technician, Becky mentors others, proving her commitment to the industry. Her dedication and achievements continue to inspire and encourage future apprentices.

Adam Culverhouse, Sytner Leicester BMW Adam has consistently excelled throughout his apprenticeship at BMW, demonstrating technical prowess and a strong commitment to learning. His involvement in high-profile projects like the IMI Skills competition and the BTCC showcases his adaptability and skill. Adam has also mentored other apprentices, sharing his knowledge and fostering a collaborative work environment. Despite overcoming personal challenges, including an elbow injury, he has maintained high performance and contributed to team success. Harriette Drysdale, Vertu BMW & MINI Teesside Harriette, named the 2024 Vertu Group Apprentice of the Year, stands out for her dedication, maturity, and work ethic. She has consistently delivered exceptional customer service and performance, earning respect from colleagues and management. Harriette actively promotes career opportunities in the motor industry, recently presenting to a local college on behalf of Vertu Motors. Her ability to form strong relationships, coupled with her methodical approach to learning, sets her apart. Harriette’s future is bright, with a long and successful career ahead. |
