Award Overview
The International Partner of the Year Award celebrates global partners who deliver exceptional results and have made a significant positive impact on the international auto skills agenda. This award honours the collaborative efforts between the IMI and its international strategic partners, business partners, or IMI Centres, who work together towards common goals, share the same values, and contribute to the global vision and mission for the future of the automotive industry.
Nominations close on Wednesday 20th November.
Eligibility
Nominees can be international strategic partners, business partners, or IMI Centres that have demonstrated outstanding collaboration with the IMI on a global scale.
Nomination Criteria
Global Collaboration with IMI: How has the international partner worked with the IMI towards common global goals? Consider their contribution to IMI’s international projects, activities, and the achievement of shared objectives worldwide.
Initiative and Global Support: Has the partner initiated international areas of work that support the IMI’s objectives? Have they embodied the values of the IMI in their global operations and interactions?
Shared Global Vision: Are they working towards the same shared vision for the future of the global automotive sector? Do they advocate for IMI membership globally and share a passion for innovation and life-long learning across borders?
Innovation and Modern Practices Worldwide: How has the partner employed modern and effective working practices, IT systems, and learning and development processes on an international level? How are they driving the sector forward globally by staying updated with the latest technologies and improving systems and processes across different regions?
Global Accessibility and Relevance: Does the partner offer forward-thinking and relevant education through classes, courses, online learning, and accreditation that cater to an international audience? Are their offerings accessible, learner-centric, and inclusive of crucial topics like electrified vehicles, ADAS, and new technologies across various markets?
International Industry Activity and CPD: How does the partner emphasise the importance of CPD and share knowledge proactively on a global scale? Do they support international industry activities and events, and can they be relied upon for support during global events like network meetings or the IMI Skills Competition?
Adding Value to IMI Membership Globally: How does the partner promote IMI membership as a career development tool on an international level? Do they add value by sponsoring or providing membership benefits across different countries? Do they engage with the IMI globally and offer constructive feedback on improving products and services for an international audience?
