Award Overview
The Partner of the Year Award recognises Partners who deliver outstanding results and have made a significant positive impact on the auto skills agenda. This award celebrates the collaborative efforts between the IMI and its strategic partners, business partners, or IMI Centres, who work together towards common goals, share the same values, and contribute to the shared vision and mission for the future of the automotive industry.
Eligibility
Nominees can be strategic partners, business partners, or IMI Centres who have demonstrated exceptional collaboration with the IMI.
Nomination Criteria
Collaboration with IMI: How has the partner worked with the IMI towards common goals? Consider their contribution to IMI projects, activities, and the achievement of shared objectives.
Initiative and Support: Has the partner initiated areas of work that support the IMI’s objectives? Have they embodied the values of the IMI in their work and interactions with others?
Shared Vision: Are they working towards the same shared vision for the future of the sector? Do they advocate for IMI membership and share a passion for innovation and life-long learning?
Innovation and Modern Practices: How has the partner used modern and effective working practices, IT systems, and learning and development processes? How are they driving the sector forward by staying updated with the latest technologies and improving current systems and processes?
Accessibility and Relevance: Does the partner offer forward-thinking and relevant education through classes, courses, online learning, and accreditation? Are their offerings accessible and learner-centric, covering crucial topics like electrified vehicles, ADAS, and new technologies?
Industry Activity and CPD: How does the partner emphasise the importance of CPD and share knowledge proactively? Do they support local industry activities, and can they be relied upon for support during events like network meetings or the IMI Skills Competition?
Adding Value to IMI Membership: How does the partner promote IMI membership as a career development tool? Do they add value by sponsoring or providing membership benefits? Do they engage with the IMI and offer constructive feedback on improving products and services?
