This has enabled the development of a range of products and services that provide support for mental health and wellbeing. Ben promotes best-practice approaches to managing and supporting mental health, as well as broader health and wellbeing issues in the workplace.

Digital services

Ben provides a range of preventative, self help support content online via its website. Individuals can also sign to Ben’s Health & Wellbeing emails to receive helpful tips, advice and tools straight to their inbox and keep up to date Ben’s services and support.

In addition, Ben provides access to SilverCloud, our digital Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) platform. This provides a range of mental health and wellbeing programmes for individuals to use.

Helpline services

Ben operates a confidential helpline service from Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm, with dedicated Helpline Advisors managing enquiries via telephone, email and webchat. Advisors are trained to listen and offer information, advice and guidance, helping individuals to understand how Ben can help them. Advisors can also provide crisis support, a vital lifeline for many.

Ben also operates an out-of-hours text-based support service between 8pm and 8am for those who are struggling.

Trained and dedicated professionals deliver this service, providing crisis support for those in need.

Mental health assessment, therapies, and life coaching services

Individuals reaching out for mental health support have access to a mental health assessment. Delivered by trained professionals, this service helps individuals to identify the type of support that’s most beneficial for them, including counselling, talking or other specialist therapies such as trauma, family and relationships therapy. Ben also offers in-house life coaching.

Additional services for employers

Employers can access support directly through Ben’s Critical Response Service, where an unexpected or traumatic event may have unfolded in or out of the workplace. Ben also provides a range of paid-for services including;

  • BenTraining – a suite of Health and Wellbeing products including Mental Health First Aid and Suicide Prevention Training.
  • BenWell is a digital platform for employers to sign up to, providing real-time data and insights into their workforce’s wellbeing.
