Going the distance for Ben

It was brilliant to see the London Marathon back last weekend. Thousands lining the streets to support the runners taking part. And what’s more, it was fantastic to see members of the IMI family hitting the tarmac raising money for good causes.

Congratulations to Barry Williams, End Point Assessment Manager at the IMI, who was part of the carnival helping support industry charity Ben. It was an incredible achievement crossing the finishing line, but Barry also raised over £2,000 to help Ben continue to deliver essential support. From care services to health and wellbeing. (His fundraising page is still open if you want to donate).

With World Mental Health Day this week, it’s an opportunity to remind everyone who’s struggling that help is out there, through Ben and others.

The IMI has several resources that could be useful.

And don’t forget our incredible webinar; Motivation, Mental Health and The Motor Industry.

Even when times are tough, it’s reassuring to know there are people out there willing to go the extra mile (or 26) to make sure the support remains available and we all have access to the help we need.
