Government Increases Employer Ownership Skills funding to £340million
On Monday 19 November the UK Commission for Employment and Skills (UKCES) launched the second round of their Employer Ownership of Skills programme. On 5 December in their Autumn Statement, the government announced this was to be increased to £340 million overall. Businesses across the country can now bid for a share of a £340 million pot to create the training schemes they need to grow their companies.
The IMI have written an open letter to all sector employers which outlines how we can support automotive sector employers bid for a share of the funds.
