Pedal for Pounds: Raises funds in memory of much loved IMI family member

It’s been a difficult year for everyone including the IMI who have experienced great loss of a much loved member of the team, Heidi McNeill. Help us hit her fundraising target as part of her Pedal for Pounds Rickshaw Challenge.

This year has been as challenging as they come, and it’s with great sadness that we have to mourn the loss of one of the IMI family. Heidi McNeill, the institute’s Professional Development Sales Executive, was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer at the end of last year, and passed away on the 16th October.

Heidi was an integral part of the IMI, driven and determined, proven in no better way than in her resolve to raise as much money as possible for Letchworth’s Garden House Hospice, where she received end of life care.

Heidi, along with her family, set up the Pedal for Pounds Rickshaw Challenge with the aim of raising £15,000. The undertaking was for Heidi’s friends and family to lead her around a 30-mile course in a rickshaw.

Sadly, Heidi is no longer with us, but her partner Simon and their family completed the event in her memory. Now, we want to help boost the donations in honour of this amazing lady, and help the hospice to continue to provide the incredibly important service it delivers for end of life care.
