Two HUGE events, one big question

Member Satisfaction Survey

We’re all set for next week’s IMI Virtual Conference. So many people have signed up to attend. A fantastic list of speakers is ready to discuss the seismic shifts in automotive.

A couple of highlights:

  • Arran Simms, Chief Engineer Data, Fleet and Business Opportunities at Jaguar Land Rover will be looking at the challenges of new technology.
  • Andy Turbefield, Head of Quality at Halfords; Jodie Williams, Head of Diversity and Inclusion at Sytner; Steve Nash and Professor Jim Saker, President of the IMI will talk about how you and your organisation can get on the road to 2030.

It’s an unmissable event (and counts towards CPD requirements) so book your free place today ready for the 23rd September.

Next generation skills

WorldSkills may have had to park up during the pandemic, but the competition is back.

More than 20 automotive apprentices who entered the IMI Skills Competitions have been shortlisted for this year’s WorldSkills UK competition covering body repair, refinishing, automotive technology, and heavy vehicle technology.

The competition culminates in a series of finals across the UK this November where participants will battle it out to be crowned national skills champions.

How are we doing?

Your opinion is incredibly important to us. Your feedback helps the IMI improve our delivery to better support your career. Our job is to drive knowledge exchange and networking opportunities, in a sector that is in a state of transformation.

So we’d be grateful if you could take five minutes to complete the IMI member satisfaction survey. Good or bad, we want to know your views so we can deliver the content, courses, and qualifications you need.

In the meantime, if you have any questions you need answering we’re here, get in touch on +44 (0)1992 519025, or send an email to hello@theimi.org.uk.

With my very best wishes
