After reviewing our portfolio, we have identified several qualifications that have no, or very low registrations. We plan to withdraw these qualifications, with the last date for registering learners being 31st December 2024. Learners already undertaking these qualifications will not be affected.
Following the consultation period some of the qualifications will be retained. Registration levels will continue to be reviewed for these qualifications during this period and we will notify you if there are any changes to the stated end dates.
As we move forward, please note the outcomes to the consultation which can be viewed by clicking on the applicable area below:
- Qualifications Closing for Registrations in England Only (will remain in Northern Ireland and Wales for apprenticeship frameworks): Effective from 31st December 2024.
- Qualifications Closing for Registrations in Northern Ireland and Wales: Effective from 31st December 2024.
- Qualifications Closing for International Registrations: Effective from 31st December 2024.
We want to assure you that we remain committed to supporting all learners currently registered on the affected qualifications. Our teams will work closely with centres to facilitate the gradual removal of these qualifications from your offerings, prioritising those where no learners are currently active.
