The IMI Attends the Private Sector Forum
The IMI's CEO, Nick Connor, and our Director of Commercial Assessment, Tony Lawson, visited Saudi Arabia to take part in the Private Sector Forum (PIF). Whilst here, they took the opportunity to formerly announce approval of the National Automotive and Vehicle Academy (NAVA) as an accredited IMI centre.
NAVA is Saudi Arabia's preeminent automotive academy responsible for skilling the Saudi and MENA youth for fulfilling careers in the emerging, cutting-edge automotive ecosystem of the kingdom.
Important Updates
International Partner of the Year Award
On the 11th of March, we were joined by over 400 industry professionals to celebrate automotive excellence. Unfortunately, many of our international partners who were planning on joining us were unable to make it, but we thank you all for your support. However, a big congratulations to everyone who was shortlisted in our International Partner of the Year Award:
- Autotronics Centre of Excellence
- Belron International
- Kollej Komunity Kepala Batas
And a further congratulations to Belron International who took the award on the night.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank Al-Fuittaim for sponsoring this award, and congratulate them for being shortlisted for the Contribution to the Work of the IMI Award.
From April 2026, we will be launching some new international qualifications. Emails will be sent out from mid-April with details of these new and existing qualifications and Accredited Learning Programmes
Along with an overview document of the IMI International Product Range, we will also be sending you marketing flyers for each qualification, Accredited Learning Programmes, IMI Membership and IMI TechSafe.
The Road to Net Zero
The IMI now features on the UK Skills Partnership website in a case study concerning the work we are doing with strategic partners as we all move towards net zero targets.
