Daisy Moore, Doncaster Audi Daisy, JCT600’s first female technician at Doncaster Audi, exemplifies resilience, leadership, and dedication. She excelled academically, achieving distinctions in all EPA assessments, while mentoring peers, coordinating Health & Safety, and enhancing team morale. Overcoming personal challenges, she consistently delivers high-quality work, contributes to KPIs, and represents her employer nationally, including at the Houses of Parliament. Daisy’s grit, professionalism, and commitment to continuous learning make her an outstanding role model and a transformative influence in the workplace. | |
Marc Cockerton, Volkswagen Group Marc stands out as a Volkswagen Group apprentice through technical excellence, leadership, and innovation. He led a two-year Toolroom reorganisation, developed automated calibration systems, and restored a Mini Cooper independently, demonstrating problem-solving and precision. A national gold medalist in the IMI Skills Competition, Marc actively mentors, promotes apprenticeships, and develops community initiatives like the “moving workshop.” His dedication to learning, process-driven approach, and measurable impact on compliance and efficiency make him an outstanding apprentice and role model. | |
Sydney Gleeson, Halfords Sydney has gone above and beyond as an ambassador for Halfords and apprenticeships. She supported the national pothole campaign, travelling from Peterborough to Cambridge for Sir Keir Starmer’s visit. Nominated for an industry award with Peterborough College, she helped create a TikTok promoting apprenticeships. During National Apprenticeship Week, she impressed at our Northampton event, winning the end-point assessment challenge. Sydney also reached the finals of our Technical Apprentice of the Year competition, placing third, and contributed to the “This Girl Is Me” campaign. |
