Award Overview
This award recognises apprentices who are making a significant contribution in their workplace and have demonstrated a commitment to excelling in their professional development and learning.
Nominations close at end of November.
Eligibility
Nominees must be currently enrolled in or have completed an apprenticeship (studying an IMI accredited course) during the 2024/25 academic year. It is open to entrants currently working towards or who have completed an apprenticeship during 2024/25. There are no age restrictions, and applicants can be on an intermediate, advanced, or higher-level apprenticeship programme in any discipline.
Nomination Criteria
Standout Qualities: What makes this individual stand out compared to others? Consider their attitude, behaviours, approach to learning, and approach to their work.
Involvement in Projects: What specific projects has this apprentice been a part of that demonstrate their unique contributions? Include any activities taken on outside of their job description.
Overcoming Challenges: What challenges has this apprentice faced, and how have they successfully overcome them?
Contribution to the Workplace: How has the nominee made a significant contribution in their workplace? Do they actively seek out further learning, show leadership skills, work well with the team, display creativity, or contribute innovative ideas?
Key Accomplishments: What key accomplishments has the apprentice achieved or been a part of? What impact or benefits have these accomplishments had on the individual and the organisation?
Dedication and Effort: We are looking for apprentices who consistently go above and beyond, giving their all each and every day. This award is for individuals who are 100% dedicated to their studies and the success of their organisation.
