Current NOS Projects - 2024/25

The Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI)  is carrying out a review of the following National Occupational Standards (NOS):

  • Maintenance and Repair – Light Vehicle
  • Mechanical Electrical and Trim (MET)
  • Core Automotive – Health & safety, use of hand tools, comms etc.

Consultation events will be mainly electronic, in the form of online surveys and video/telephone conference meetings, and we need industry experts like you to feed in. There is no requirement to attend all meetings – just be as involved as you wish.

For those who take part, a CPD certificate will be issued as a small ‘thank you’ for your time, which can be used towards IMI Membership/Professional Registration.
