Are you MOT ready?

The clock’s ticking if you want to carry on MOT testing. You have to complete the appropriate training and pass the relevant assessment by 31 March 2023. Otherwise you won’t be testing anymore.

That’s not far away but there are still more than 25,000 MOT Testers who haven’t completed it yet.

What do I need to do?

• Complete at least three hours of MOT tester training each year and 16 hours in five years
• Keep a record of your training
• Book and take your assessment

Why do I need to do it?

This one’s simple. Your MOT tester status will be suspended if you don’t pass the annual assessment by 31 March. That means less work and less revenue for your business.
