Review of Scottish MET Diploma at SCQF L6: Your Chance to Have Your Say!

Light vehicle

The IMI is reviewing the Scottish Diploma for Mechanical Electrical and Trim (MET) at SCQF Level 6. We are looking for industry experts, employers, training providers and any other relevant stakeholders to take a short questionnaire on the proposed changes and feed into the review.

The MET NOS was reviewed in 2017/18 and an update to the MET SVQ at SCQF Level 6 was made in 2019/20. Therefore, we are reviewing the MET Diploma to bring it in line with any changes made to the NOS and SVQ and make sure it is still fit for purpose. The automotive landscape is changing rapidly with new technologies emerging. So, this will be a good opportunity take these into account and make sure any necessary changes are reflected in the qualifications.
