COURSE STRUCTURE - ONLINE THEORY
Online learning materials will be provided for candidates to complete at their own pace and convenience. This module introduces technicians to the TEXA IDC6 Car/LCV software environment, guiding them through navigating and configuring diagnostic menus for AdBlue (SCR)‑equipped vehicles. Learners will gain an understanding of relevant communication protocols such as CAN and LIN, carry out standard diagnostic scans, and interpret SCR‑related fault codes across a wide range of car and light commercial vehicle systems.
PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
This module focuses on practical AdBlue (SCR) diagnostics for cars and light commercial vehicles using TEXA equipment, giving learners valuable hands‑on experience with real SCR‑related faults and components. Through targeted case studies, candidates develop the troubleshooting skills needed to diagnose dosing issues, sensor faults, and system performance problems specific to car and LCV SCR systems.
