  • Understand wiper blades, linkages and motors, washer and wiper circuits.
  • Explain horns, obstacle avoidance and cruise control.
  • Explain in car entertainment (ICE) systems.
  • Understand the electrical movement of seats, mirrors, sunroofs, central locking and windows.
  • Understand security systems, security coded ECUs and passive anti-theft systems (PATS).
  • Understand electronic safety systems including passive and active safety, air bags and belt tensioners.
