A good supply of electric power is necessary for modern vehicles. Many components, that were once mechanically operated, are now driven by small electric motors and controlled by microprocessors. This course is about battery construction, state of charge, types, charging, testing and diagnostics. It also covers the starting system and starting system testing, the charging system and charging system testing, alternator developments, and stop-start control.
