COURSE STRUCTURE
THEORY
The theory covers the fundamentals of high‑voltage hybrid and electric vehicle systems, including energy storage, motors, inverters, and safety requirements. Learners explore how these components work together within the drivetrain and study essential high‑voltage safety procedures needed for safe diagnosis and maintenance.
PRACTICAL ASSESSMENT
The practical session focuses on safely isolating high‑voltage systems, carrying out standard tests, and using specialist tools to check battery, inverter, and mo‑ tor components. Learners gain hands‑on experience applying correct safety procedures while diagnosing faults on hybrid and electric vehicles.
