The IMI Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement has been designed to provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely on electric and hybrid vehicles. The qualification focuses on safe working practices when carrying out diagnostic, testing, repair and replacement activities on high-voltage systems.

The course ensures technicians understand the hazards associated with high energy electrical vehicle systems and how to safely isolate, test and repair components on electric and hybrid vehicles, including vehicles that may have existing or previous damage to their high voltage systems.

This qualification equips learners to:
