IMI Level 1 Certificate in Vehicle Valeting Principles (VRQ)

This qualification is available in England and Northern Ireland only.

Who is it suitable for?

The qualifications are primarily designed to engage 14-19 year olds who are interested in learning about the role of a vehicle valeter.

About

The Level 1 Certificate enables learners to develop an understanding of the routine cleaning and maintenance of the interior and exterior of vehicle safely and economically, and how to develop good working relationships with colleagues and customers.

Progression

This qualification can also supplement a learners progress to GCSEs and other appropriate destinations, such as apprenticeships and employment.

Assessment

The qualification have a predominately practical task approach to assessment, and include many visual questioning techniques, which will help to stimulate and interest the learner.
