IMI Level 2 Diploma in Heavy Goods and Public Service Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence

WHO IS IT SUITABLE FOR? 

This qualification is for: 

• Those who are already in employment and who wish to achieve a qualification that demonstrates competence in the workplace 

• Those undertaking an Apprenticeship with a competence qualification, e.g. CVET (VCQ/NVQ) requirement

ABOUT 

A Learner who has achieved this Level 2 CVET (VCQ/NVQ) qualification may choose to broaden their education and training by progressing into a higher level qualification such as the IMI Level 3 Diploma in Heavy Goods and Public Service Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence.   

This learning programme qualification is based upon IMI Sector Skills Council's National Occupational Standards. 

PROGRESSION 

This qualification could allow an individual to progress on to an apprenticeship or a higher level of learning and training. 

ASSESSMENT 

The assessment of this CVET (VCQ/NVQ) is made up of 3 components: 

1. Learner portfolio of evidence 

2. Assessor observations in the workplace 

3. IMI-set online testing
