IMI Certificate for the Introduction to Motor Vehicle Industry and Technologies at SCQF Level 3

WHO IS IT SUITABLE FOR?

These qualifications are designed to engage and motivate 14-19 year olds who are interested in learning about the retail motor industry. They are aimed at learners who prefer and respond to 'hands-on' learning. Therefore they each have a practical approach to assessment and include many visual questioning techniques which will stimulate and interest learners. These qualifications also include the option to undertake Personal and Social Development (PSD) units, which support learners in their preparation for work life.

Certificate

This Certificate is ideal for those learners who wish to undertake a qualification which will support their progress to IMI Certificate in Transport Maintenance qualification. It can also supplement their progress to Nationals and other appropriate destinations.

The assessment of this qualification is made up of 2 components:

• IMI Combined written and practical assessment
• IMI Online test
