Lindsey Mitchell

Lindsey is a dedicated professional with a strong background in the automotive sector. Starting her career as a light and motorcycle technician, Lindsey developed a new passion for learning and teaching others. This drive led her to pursue a career in automotive education, where she transitioned from a technician role to focus on delivering and assessing automotive apprenticeships and training.

In 2015, Lindsey joined the IMI and has since accumulated a wealth of experience in sector skills, product development, people management, and leadership. Through leading multiple departments and driving business direction, Lindsey has played a key role in the creation of IMI regulated and non-regulated provision.

Currently serving as the head of Development, Quality, and Compliance at the IMI, Lindsey is dedicated to supporting and leading on skills solutions to help the industry prepare for the roles of the future. With a commitment to innovation and excellence, Lindsey continues to strive to make a significant impact in the automotive education sector.
