Speaking at Automechanika Birmingham today (Tuesday 7th June), broadcaster and journalist Suzi Perry and IMI CEO Steve Nash speak on the importance of professional registration and the need for a licence to practise across the motoring sector.

Today (Thursday 9th June), the IMI is hosting a dedicated seminar session at Automechanika Birmingham to reveal the world-class IMI MOT training solutions available to MOT Testers.

IMI, the motor industry’s Professional Body and only dedicated qualifications awarding body has formally announced the publication of its MOT Tester qualification.  The qualification became official with publication of the full details on the regulators website, OFQUAL.

IMI has announced the 2016 Skill Auto finalists. The six apprentices from each of the four categories, Automotive Tech, Body Repair, Refinishing, and, for the first time this year, Heavy Vehicle, will go head to head at the Skills Show in November at Birmingham's NEC.
