IMI celebrates excellent apprentices and calls on Government to help drive up standards

The ‘best of the best’ apprentices in the motor retail sector yesterday gathered at the headquarters for the Institute of the Motor Industry for the Outstanding Achievers Awards 2016.  The winners and finalists were selected from more than 100,000 learners within the IMI network of more than 660 centres, with the aim of recognising those apprentices that have excelled in their courses.  The winners represent future leaders and current role models, setting the benchmark for the rest of the industry.

New scholarship puts women in the driver’s seat

Carspring has partnered with the Institute of the Motor Industry (IMI) to launch a unique scholarship to encourage increased female participation in the motor industry.  The online cars sales company will provide bursaries of £1,000 to two female students to help support their studies, along with two weeks work experience at their offices in London and Berlin.
