COVID-19 has had an enormous impact on the industry, creating a huge number of challenges and putting pressure on employers to look at their personnel needs. It’s a worrying time.

The IMI is here to support its members, so whether you’ve been in the industry for some time, are just starting out on your career journey we want to give you the tools to help you stay part of the automotive sector.

It’s tough now, but the industry needs to keep hold of talent and make sure we’re ready for a changing landscape where new technologies and skills will help the industry emerge from the difficulties.

So, we’re launching the IMI’s Employability Week.

Running from the 12th to the 16th October we’re pulling together a host of online resources focused on arming you with the tools to put you in the best possible position to secure your next role.

From refreshing your CV and building an online profile to interview and communication techniques, the Employability Week will be filled with tips and advice, short videos, talks and presentations that you can use to arm yourself for the jobs market.
