IMI launches EDI webinar series for members
Free sessions aim to address key issues to improve Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
The IMI has launched a series of free webinars for Members, providing organisations with vital resources to improve Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI). Open to the IMI’s 110,000+ members, the series comprises one-hour-long sessions taking place throughout the summer, with recordings available post-webinars for those unable to join live.
The sessions are:
- Active Bystander: 14:00-15:00, 19th June 2024
- Trans and Non-Binary Inclusion: 10:00-11:00, 9th July 2024
- Tackling Ableism: 14:00-15:00, 13th August 2024
Hosted by independent experts with highly relevant experience, these webinars will arm IMI members with the resources they need to provide equal opportunities and support for everyone in the workplace and the wider industry. Complementing the range of training courses and online resources already available to members, these webinars play an important part in the IMI’s commitment to ensuring constant learning in all areas of EDI and raising awareness of the value the differences in people can bring to an organisation.
The IMI’s EDI team and Diversity Task Force are dedicated to creating a wide range of inclusive toolkits and resources to help employers and employees, this includes training with the launch of a Level 5 Award in Managing EDI. This qualification aims to support First Line Managers in creating a more diverse-friendly inclusive work environment.
To register for any of the webinars, IMI members should visit the IMI Events page.
