The vital role of End point assessments

The vital role of End point assessments

The automotive sector is built on apprenticeships. And those apprentices themselves rely on end point assessments – the ultimate validation that they’ve reached the required standards.

I’m really proud to say the IMI has been shortlisted by the Federation of Awarding Bodies for the Specialist Sector EPAO of the Year Award. The IMI team puts a huge amount into being an effective and trusted end point assessment organisation, indeed the demands on us change all the time. We really are honoured to be on this shortlist. The awards take place at the EPA 2022 Conference, Awards and Exhibition on 19 May at Warwick Conferences, I’ll keep you posted.

MotorPro's live

I really want to direct you to the latest issue of the IMI’s member magazine, MotorPro. It’s an absolute cracker. You can log into this one wherever you are. Simply enter your details and get free access to thought-provoking features about where the automotive industry is headed, hands-on career and technical advice, and contributions from the smartest minds in the business.

Making a difference

Many of you will know the IMI’s Head of Membership Products and Services, Mark Armitage. Mark is running the Derby Half Marathon in June, raising money for the Derby County Community Trust, and we’re very proud of his efforts.

If you can support him, I’m sure he, those working at the Trust and those they help, would be incredibly grateful.

There’s a lot going on in the world at the moment and we’re here to help, so if you have any questions, get in touch. Call +44 (0)1992 519025, or send an email to hello@theimi.org.uk.

With my very best wishes
