Course Overview

This module will enable you to identify the importance of employing safe working practices when undertaking a variety of practical tasks on hybrid electric vehicles. It is vital that this unit is completed prior to completing any relating practical tasks.  The module should be completed by those who are new to working operationally on electric vehicles. You will study the key safety elements when maintaining electrical components and more specifically those vehicle components whose function it is to store electrical energy. The module identifies the potential hazards when completing electric vehicle maintenance and repair operations and relevant tools and equipment employed when completing electric vehicle tasks
