This module incorporates a range of relevant foundation skills that are vital to achieving success as a technician working in the automotive maintenance and repair industry. The module will train you to correctly employ a variety of different measurements and you will be able to identify how to successfully use a range of different measuring tools and equipment. You will learn about the different properties of automotive related materials and how these properties influence material selection. You will also study the different physical quantities and why these are important and be able to identify different threads employed on nuts and bolts that are employed in vehicle manufacturing.
