UK Fees and Charges 2024/25

In this section you will find everything you need to know about the fees and charges associated with being an IMI approved centre.

Please note that the prices stated are based on the standard UK rate - charges for international centres may vary, please refer to your IMI contact for further information.

Initial Application and Annual Centre fees do not apply for IMI Approved Centres using only EPA services. This is only applicable for Centres using Gateways and Support Packages.

IMI has a 'minimum spend' requirement of £1,000 per year. When a centre's annual fee is due, the amount the centre has spent with the IMI during the previous year will be calculated. Should this amount fall below £1,000, the centre will be charged the balance along with their annual fee for the forthcoming year.

IMI have published the 2024/2025 Regulated Centres Fees. These fees will came into effect on 1 April 2024.

Centre Application Fees

These fees are applicable until 31 March 2025.

Centre approval fee: £742.50 (non-refundable)

• + £404.50 for each irtec route/level
• + £413.00 for each IMI Accredited Assessment per route/level
• + £413.00 for Functional Skills applications (Functional Skills fees are irrespective of the number of disciplines/levels offered)
• + £413.00 for MOT Qualification applications (irrespective of the number of disciplines offered)
• + £474.50 for each IMI Accredited Programme per programme
• + £392.50 for New Apprenticeship Standards per Apprenticeship Standard route

Note: the centre approval fee is only valid for twelve months from the point of application.

Annual Centre Fees

These fees are applicable until 31 March 2025.

Fixed fee: £499.50

• + £499.50 for each Satellite Centre(s)
• + £404.50 for each irtec route/level
• + £413.00 for each IMI Accredited Assessment per route/level
• + £413.00 for Functional Skills (Functional Skills fees are irrespective of the number of disciplines/levels offered)
• + £413.00 for MOT Qualification applications (irrespective of the number of disciplines offered)
• + £392.50 for New Apprenticeship Standards per Apprenticeship Standard route

Please note - Centre fees must be paid upon approval and annually thereafter. Centres will be invoiced, in full, for candidate fees at the time of registration(s). IMI cannot issue refunds upon cancellation of products.
