New funding opportunities in England from the 1st August 2025
The Government review of post-16 qualifications has created new exciting funding opportunities not previously available. Two new categories of post-16 funded qualifications have been created:
- Occupational Entry Qualifications
- Technical Specialist Qualifications
IMI have successfully secured funding against qualifications in these categories as per the tables below.
Please note: New Level 2 Occupational Entry Qualification to be funded from 1st August 2025This is designed to replace the Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles (500/9818/4) which has not had its funding extended from August 2025. The new diploma has been introduced as it provides the up-to-date content your learners will require, which includes Electric Vehicle (EV). Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
